Dr Maria Cox Maria came to Australia as a child and later moved to Auckland where she attended medical school and met Robert. She entered general practice in 1985. Maria has skills in all aspects of general practice and has particular experience in women's health and mental health. She enjoys playing the recorder, reading and spending time with her family.
Dr Robert Cox Robert went to medical school in Auckland where he met Maria. He entered general practice in 1985 and likes most aspects of general practice especially men's health, dermatology, minor surgery and mental health. He enjoys cooking, photography and his family.

We are Maria and Robert Cox, the owners of the Spence Medical Centre since 1994. We are married with two children. We would like to thank our patients for making our first years so pleasant and successful. In addition to our medical degrees we are experienced in all areas of general practice and are both on the Vocational Register of General Practitioners.
